The WebRecorder supports Google Chrome on Windows and Mac OS and is currently in beta.

We now offer a new WordPress plugin, which allows you to embed your Planet eStream videos, quizzes, documents and photosets into a WordPress blog post. You can also upload content directly to eStream through the plugin. You can download the WordPress plugin here.

Web VR View

To further enhance support for 360 degree video playback, there is now also support for playing back 360 Stereoscopic content for use in VR devices that use a smartphone, such as Google Cardboard or Google Daydream.

Google Classroom Share Link

Users with permission to create web links in Planet eStream now have access to the Google Classroom Share link button. Users can select options to create their web link and then click on the Google Classroom Share button to start adding content to Google Assignments.

BBC RES Powered Slideshow [TBC]

The BBC Research and Education Space (RES) Project is a platform built by the BBC that indexes and organises the digital archives from libraries, museums, broadcasters, and galleries to make their content more discoverable, accessible and usable to those in UK education and research.

As part of our ongoing commitment to development, we have been working closely with the RES team at the BBC to provide integrations with RES. For more information please see the following RES Blog.

Users will now be able to create image galleries powered by RES, and also search for images and include these as related media items in Planet eStream.

MLS Eclipse and Junior Librarian and Planet eSign Integration

It is now possible to display a slideshow of book covers and titles on digital signage screens powered by Planet eSign. Options available include Top Ten, Book of the Week and New Resources.
