Thanks: 2 times

Hi there,

Since my network is not allowing me to install Format factory I have been told that you have a similar software setup that can rip a DVD into a video file for use on our signage. I have been looking for a solution for the installer to format factory and not getting anywhere.

Is this software still available?

Hi there, Please accept my apologies for the delay in this response, the forum software has a bug that does not alert us of new posts. We do have the Planet eStream Encoder application which can be used for capturing from sources such as a DVD player. Due to copyright protection on DVDs and other media, you will use an external DVD player which has the video output plugged into a USB video capture device and the Encoder will then take this output which can then be archived onto eStream and as such uploaded to eStream. If you'd like more details on this process, I would recommend emailing our support team at: support@planetestream.co.uk or calling 01274 713425. Once again, I apologise for the delay in my response.
